This lovely Rutland Water wedding took place during the heatwave last July. We had endless sunshine and I have to say it must have been absolutely sweltering for the Groomsmen in their suits! The ceremony took place at the pretty Normanton Church, on Rutland Water, and the Bride and Groom were joined by their closest family and friends for the intimate ceremony. We took a few photo’s around the church and then headed off up the road to Rutland Water […]
This stunning Wedding took place in June 2018 at Uffington Church, followed by a Marquee reception held in the Bride’s Parent’s garden in the beautifully tiny and secluded village of Casewick nearby. This was a very glamorous wedding, reminding me of Royal Ascot, with all the lovely outfits on show. The sun shone and the Pimms flowed. The flowers were absolutely stunning by Flower House of Stamford, and the Bride’s mum had been busy in the months before making sure […]
A year ago I photographed the really gorgeous wedding of Sarah and Jamie. The ceremony took place at St Norbert’s Church in Spalding and the reception was held at a new venue in Peterborough called Sisson’s Farm (it now has a beautiful new Barn built especially for weddings!), It was an absolute corker of a spring day. The girls all got ready at Sarah’s before Sarah popped around the corner to her Mum and Dad’s to put on her elegant […]
What a fantastic year for weddings….A wintry white spring, followed by a long hot summer, and a warm cosy Autumn. I photographed lots of awesome couples and their friendly families. Went to some new stunning venues and also visited some familiar ones. Here is a snippet of the fab weddings I photographed throughout 2018. If you are getting married in 2019 or 2020 and like my style of photography please get in touch!
This Wedding took place at Rutland Water, last Christmas, followed by a very cosy reception at The Finch’s Arms, Hambleton. The Bride & Groom were childhood sweethearts and tied the knot with their nearest and dearest watching. Louise looked absolutely stunning and left Jonny speechless! It was all candlelight and log fires and so very Christmassy. I loved every minute of capturing this truly adorable wedding. OK it didn’t really snow but who cares!
This wedding took place in August 2016 and despite the rainy weather it was a cracker of a wedding. The lovely Bride & Groom were so relaxed and happy, I think it rubbed off on everyone – the weather was never going to dampen anyone’s spirits. Normanton Church looked almost mystical in the drizzle, and I’ve never seen Rutland water look so still and calm. Cars were a big theme of the wedding, as the Groom restores old cars as […]
This wedding at Childerley Hall & Long Barn, Cambridge in August 2016 was simply stunning. The weather was glorious, and the day started at the Bride’s Mum’s house in a village called Over, near Cambridge, where the Bride’s family and Bridesmaids were busy getting ready. The wedding ceremony was to take place a short walk away at Over Church, which holds a special place in the Bride’s family’s heart as it is where her Grandma and Granddad are buried. Following […]
Kelmarsh Hall near Kettering, Northants, is simply a stunning wedding venue. Not only is it a beautiful building both inside and out, it has the most gorgeous gardens and surroundings. This wedding took place at Kelmarsh Hall in June 2016, with the lovely couple Hannah & Adam. They wanted a fun and relaxed atmosphere, and with fun fair stalls and lots of garden games it certainly was everything they wanted it to be. If you’re getting married at Kelmarsh Hall […]
The Barns Hotel, Bedford is a beautiful place to host your wedding ceremony and/or reception. The 13th Century Tithe Barn is a magical backdrop for those all important wedding photo’s. The wedding of the lovely Ruby & Will took place at the Barns Hotel, Bedford back in April 2016 and it was a truly lovely and memorable wedding. Although the weather was changeable (April Showers of course) it in no way spoilt any of the day. This is a small […]
Another 2015 wedding to blog which took place in October (Oh I am so far behind with this blogging thing). It was a beautiful Autumn day, still warm and thankfully dry! Lisa & Marc tied the knot at the pretty little Marholm Church, with lots of free range children! Followed by a reception at the Sibson Inn near Wittering. It was a cracking day, and the bride looked absolutely stunning. If you are getting married in or around Peterborough, Cambridge, […]
